Overview:

Following on from Smart Urban Transport 2005, this one day conference, run jointly with the Centre for Transport Strategy at the University of Queensland, focused on the benefits that can be achieved by adopting innovative approaches to transit oriented development, and featured emerging trends and best practice in strategic planning, policy, architectural design, urban planning and institutional requirements.

Expert international and Australian speakers were invited to lead conference sessions and this conference provided an opportunity for others to contribute experience, research and ideas to making it happen.

Who Should Attend:

This all plenary conference brought together government policy makers and planners, and private sector infrastructure providers, financiers, engineering and planning consultants, commercial and residential property industry specialists and investors and university researchers.

Call for Papers:

A poster exhibition was available for interested individuals, including students.
