• • Brief Biography ::

Barry Mein is Director, Transport at the Auckland Regional Council, a position he has held since 1994. He has an MA (Hons) degree in Geography from Canterbury University, and has twenty years experience in strategic and transport planning and management at central, local and regional government levels, as well as in a private consulting firm. In his current role, Barry is responsible for directing the Auckland Regional Council's transport functions, which include strategy development and passenger transport planning, purchasing and support.
